UC Berkeley 2006

When I'm not doing research, I'm doing other stuff. No seriously. But most of the time I'm riding my bike.

I started the whole cycling phase of my life in the fall of 2005 when I moved to Davis for graduate school. During the last couple of years I've raced on the road for UC Davis and the local Davis Bike Club. I competed at Collegiate Road Nationals in 2007.

This year I'm on the DBC Elite Team and will be racing the local circuit with a focus on the major west coast stage races.

Below you'll find notable cycling results, I use the word notable loosely, as well as some information about my running days.

NCAA Track and Field

Before I started riding my bike, I was runner. I started running in high school because my friends were, but started to enjoyed it. This lead to a 5 year "career" at Seattle Pacific University where I competed in Cross Country and Track.

During my time there I was All-American at 800 Meters, qualified for nationals 4 times and was a 5 time individual conference champion.
